About this Speaker

Jamey leads National Contact Centres for NHS Test & Trace including the inbound 119 services, domestic and international tracing, and the isolation assurance and compliance service. At its peak this vital part of the nation’s global pandemic response was the largest contact centre in the UK with a team of over 30,000.


Jamey joined NHS Test & Trace from the Department for Work and Pensions where he held a number of senior leadership positions including Programme Director for the Pensions Dashboards Programme, Partnership Director leading the relationship with the department’s 12 arm’s length bodies and as Chief Officer of Pension Wise.

 

Prior to DWP Jamey led services for the Home Office including the UK Visas and Immigration global contact centres network and Action Fraud.

 

Jamey’s private sector experience includes leadership roles for Domestic and General, Hays Contact Centres and Cable and Wireless.

 

Educated at the Open University Jamey has a professional certificate in management and a Degree in Leadership, Management and Social Marketing. He is a graduate of the Civil Service Senior Leaders Scheme, WIG Leadership Program, a qualified NLP Practitioner and executive coach and mentor.
